As a Chamber member, your business will be listed in the web site member directory under a primary business category along with a link to your web site. Additional business categories may be purchased for $50 each. The chamber web site averages 3,000 visits a month.
Annual publication with a distribution of 5,000 copies to Chamber members, newcomers and others who use it to find the products and services they need. Includes a community profile, member directory in an alphabetical and category listing, and information about the Chamber. Additional listings and advertising are available for a fee.
The Chamber fields more than 1,000 calls each month from people looking for services. We refer our callers and visitors only to our Member businesses.
This is an exclusive service for Valpo Chamber Members. The Chamber will send a monthly "Members in Motion" newsletter blast, focusing on special announcements members wish to share with the rest of the membership. This is a member-only opportunity to submit business articles — i.e. awards, new additions to staff or promotions of title, change of business location, events that are 150 words or less. Articles are subject to approval and may be edited. Photos and .pdf documents will not be accepted.
Due to space constraints, articles will be accepted on a first-come/first-serve basis. Please send articles electronically to antoszewski@valparaisochamber.org, or info@valparaisochamber.org, subject line: Members in Motion. All articles must be received by close of business the Monday BEFORE the third Friday of the month in order to be blasted to membership the third Friday of the month. Late submissions will not be accepted.
Valpo Chamber members are welcome to place marketing literature in the public brochure racks in the high-traffic lobby of the Chamber office. This is excellent exposure, and it’s free! For more information, stop by the Chamber offices.
Promotional items representing your business may be placed in the new member tote bags. The tote bags are distributed at the quarterly New Member Welcome.
Gifts may be dropped at Chamber office by January 1, April 1, July 1 & October 1. Gifts should be quality items, valued at $5 and above (please no business cards). Ambassadors Committee will determine the mix of gifts to place into each bag .
As a chamber member you have the opportunity to host a Business After Hours at your place of business and showcase your services to all the members of the Valpo Chamber. Business After Hours are held once a month and usually fall on the 3rd Thursday of the month. On most occasions the chamber member host will offer appetizers and entertainment. If you are interested in hosting a Business After Hours, please contact Danielle at the Chamber office.
